Holiday Greetings,

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and as we wrap up 2020, we want to share a few final details in relation to the Christmas Stroll and other Chamber happenings.

Thank you to all the businesses that participated in the Stroll this year and to our community members for shopping local and supporting our small businesses through the Christmas season!

Congratulations to the winners of the Business Decorating Contest:

We also had fantastic participation in the Residential Christmas Lighting Contest this year. There were so many beautiful displays that the judges picked 5 places! Thank you to everyone for your community and Christmas spirit!

3rd Place: Levi & Chrystal Mitchell

We hope you enjoyed the COVID Christmas mask pageant and the 1st Annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Stroll.  Thank you to Powder River Petals for hosting, Melissa Billing for organizing and to all the participants in the mask pageant. There were many laughs and some fabulous and creative entities! Gavin Severeide was the winner of the People’s Choice Award, the Grinch (Waylon Billing) was runner-up and the only entry in the swimsuit competition of the pageant with his “Snowman Ensemble” and Jessica Malone placed third.  Other entries included Kristy Elgin, Stephanie Bowers, Brandi Billing, Delaney Ruland and Braelynn Powell.

Bailey Sparks won the drawing for the grand prize in our Ticket to a Cozy COVID Christmas local shopping incentive! Bailey received a bundle of gift cards from participating businesses: Alderman Oil Co., Broadus Boot and Tack, Jane’s Antiques, Silver Sage Clothing, Powder River Petals, The Daisy Patch - Embroidery & Vinyl, and Western Chick Boutique.

We have finalized the Out Here We CARE COVID safety campaign and want to sincerely thank the 18 individuals and 11 businesses (total of 47 employees) who signed the pledge.  We appreciate your commitment to the safety of our community residents and visitors and encourage everyone to continue to practice safe hygiene.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year as we move forward into 2021!
