March 2022 Newsletter

Spring is in the air which means we’re looking forward to Community Clean Up Day!  The Chamber will once again be partnering with PRCDHS to get our kids and community working together to build a brighter and more beautiful Broadus!  This program is weather dependent, so as we approach the weeks in question, the students will help us determine if clean up activities will take place on Monday, April 25th or Monday, May 2nd.  We’re always in need of adult volunteers to help supervise students, so if you would like to participate, please contact Melissa Billing (melissa@gandbcpa.com) or Dori Phillips for more details.

A Community Clean Up Day project submission is just one of the many benefits available to our Chamber members this year, so we wanted to be sure to remind you that it’s not too late to join for 2022!  If you’ve been putting it off, now is the perfect time to submit your application.  We can help promote your business with advertising and marketing and provide access to tools and resources that could improve your profits.  If you have any questions related to membership, we encourage you to visit our websitewww.PRChamberofComm.com or contact Jessica Malone.

With the primary election coming up in June, we are also making plans to host a Local Candidate Forum.  We have a tentative date scheduled for Wednesday, May 25th in the high school auditorium, so save the date but please watch for more information as we contact candidates and finalize event details.  If there are specific topics or questions you would like to address with the candidates, we invite you to submit them in advance via email to powderriverchamber@gmail.com
