Housing Needs Webinar Series – Wed, Nov 30th

If you recognize the housing issues we’re facing in our community, consider attending a new webinar series sponsored by MSU Extension & Neighbor Works.  The webinar “Housing Needs in Small Towns” is aimed at helping people in rural communities take action to tackle their housing challenges.  Watch online or join us at our local Broadus Extension Office for a no-host chili lunch viewing of this webinar series.  We will be watching the series in the Courthouse Election Room starting at 11:30-12:45 on each of the listed webinar dates.  You do not need to register online unless you would like to watch from your home. Broadus Christmas Stroll – Thurs, Dec 1st

The theme for the 2022 Broadus Christmas Stroll is “The Polar Express” so it’s all aboard this year for our favorite annual event!  Due to high school sports conflicts on Fridays, please note that the stroll is taking place on THURSDAY, December 1st.  Please see the attached poster or check out our Facebook event page for more information.

Celebrate our community this holiday season with our Chamber events, including the ever-popular Christmas Lighting Contest.  Spread Christmas cheer by decking out your businesses and homes with twinkling lights or Polar Express trains for a chance to be named the 2022 champion.  Businesses will be judged on the night of the stroll and residential lighting will be judged on Sunday, December 11th.

On stroll night, December 1st, enjoy an afternoon and evening out on the town of Broadus.  While you visit our many local businesses to enjoy treats, sales and socializing, keep your eyes open for Santa!  He’ll be strolling around town handing out candy canes to all the good little boys and girls!  At 7pm, stop by the Powder River Petals Courtyard to catch some Christmas music and the 3rd Annual Community Tree Lighting.  Then afterwards, join us for some NFR Calcutta rodeo action! We’ll be auctioning off the NFR teams at the Montana Bar starting at 7:30pm. Don’t miss your chance to win big at the finals!

It’s looking like it will be a wonderful, winter evening in Broadus and we hope you’ll support our small businesses by checking out their Stroll activities …

All aboard for the North Pole! Catch your Christmas Stroll train at the Gardner & Billing CPA station between 3:30-6:30pm. Mingle with characters from the “Polar Express” and pose for photos taken by Marni Gaskill, available to download from the Horizon Marketing Agency website.  It’s sure to be a magical adventure!
