March 2021 Newsletter

March 23rd was National Ag Day, which falls during National Agriculture Week.  Ag Day is about recognizing - and celebrating - the contribution of agriculture in our everyday lives. The Chamber wants to take a moment to make a special shout out to all our area ag businesses and ag support businesses! We thank you for working tirelessly through long days and for your passion for agriculture and support of our great community!

After COVID cancellations last year, we’re moving forward with plans for a 2021 Community Clean Up Day.  The Chamber will be partnering with PRCDHS to get our kids and community working together to Build a Better Broadus!  Weather permitting, the date has been tentatively set for Monday, April 26th.  We’re always in need of adult volunteers to help supervise students, so if you would like to participate, please contact Melissa Billing (melissa@gandbcpa.com) or Dori Phillips for more details.

A Community Clean Up Day project submission is just one of the many benefits available to our Chamber members this year, so we wanted to be sure to remind you that it’s not too late to join for 2021!  If you’ve been putting it off, now is the perfect time to submit your application.  We can help promote your business with advertising and marketing and provide access to tools and resources that could improve your profits.  If you have any questions related to membership, we encourage you to visit our website www.PRChamberofComm.com or contact Jessica Malone.

Mark your calendars for the 2021 Powder River Chamber Kentucky Derby Event!  The race is on to summer and we’ll be kicking off our 2021 season with Derby activities on Saturday, May 1st.  Details to come, but you can bet this one will be a winner!

If your business is impacted by tourism, then check out the attached details. Visit Southeast Montana is offering FREE tourism marketing workshops covering a wide range of topics, all conducted via ZOOM.
